This role is responsible for providing beverages and food products consistently to customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. The Food Service Assistant will prepare food and beverages to standard recipes, customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients, or substituted ingredients. They will maintain a clean and organized workspace, deliver quality customer service, and follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security. The position requires maintaining high levels of sanitation of all equipment and contributing to a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and clear communication with coworkers, supervisors, patients, customers, parents, and all hospital staff.
