About The Position
At Conagra Brands - Imlay City, Michigan, home of Vlasic, we are looking for a seasonal Tray Pack Operator to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers. The season runs from April through December. Seasonal team members are recalled each season and have the opportunity to advance. You will work onsite in a team environment at Imlay City, Michigan location. You will be assigned overtime based on production demand. You will report to Supervision.
Requirements
- Interpret a variety of instructions/documents (English language) such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities
- Operate the tray pack casing and shrink wrap machine.
- Operate mash coder including changes and setup.
- Monitor quality of operation such as coding, tray assembly, and label applications.
- Load tray blanks, stretch film and hot melt.
- Maintain machine and surrounding areas neat and sanitary.
- Communicate with your co-workers, Production Lead, Quality Department and other Team Leaders.
- Train employees.
- Complete all paperwork observing standard work
- Interpret a variety of instructions/documents (English language) such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
