About The Position

The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) is accepting applications for a TRAX Operator. This is a full-time position responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services to individuals, including those with disabilities. The role involves operating and maintaining TRAX vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of vehicle operations.
• Must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation.
• Possess verbal and people skills.
• Ability to think through situations and deal with problems constructively.
• Ability to deal with stress.
• Must be self-motivated with a clean driving record.
• Ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
