About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Traveling Welder to join our team. This position requires extensive travel to various customer and project locations to perform welding, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair work. The ideal candidate will have strong welding experience, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to travel as needed.

Requirements

3+ years of professional welding experience.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather and job-site conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

Welding certifications are preferred but not required.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or maintenance environments.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding on various metals and materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Fabricate, repair, and install structural steel and metal components.
Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Travel to customer sites, industrial facilities, and construction projects as required.
Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
