About The Position

This position provides general construction labor tasks in an efficient and safe manner as part of a welding crew to erect precast concrete panels. The role involves completing general construction labor tasks necessary for welding precast concrete panels, taking direction from a detail or erection crew foreperson, and potentially performing miscellaneous work as directed. The individual will use materials and supplies efficiently, handle equipment responsibly, and follow established safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Welding experience
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Ability to work from heights, including but not limited to ladders and aerial work platforms
• Ability to obtain membership to a local union
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to travel extensively, up to 50% or more, including occasional overnight travel, and to work hours outside the standard schedule as needed

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Welder (AWS, 3g & 4g)
