About The Position

Zions Bank is seeking a Traveling Teller to support its branches across a geographical area, primarily in Davis County and downtown Salt Lake. This role is part of the Retail Support department, which provides coverage for branches experiencing absenteeism. The position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set in banking fundamentals and gain valuable networking experience. The mission of the Retail Support department is to assist branches in fulfilling strategic objectives and upholding Zions Bank's company vision. The minimum pay for this position is $17 per hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking
Solid balancing and customer service skills
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
Resolve client's problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities through exploring needs.
Performing other duties as assigned.
