About The Position

Just Pull It Dental is a rapidly growing dental organization focused exclusively on extractions and urgent dental care. Our streamlined clinical model allows providers and support staff to concentrate on delivering efficient, compassionate treatment without the added complexity of insurance-driven workflows and extensive treatment planning. With multiple locations throughout the Tampa Bay region, our mission is to help patients receive fast, accessible care in a supportive and clinically focused environment. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Traveling Sedation Assistant to support IV sedation procedures and assist with general dental operations across multiple office locations. This is a dual-function role that combines sedation support responsibilities with traditional dental assisting duties as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically confident, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of patient safety and documentation accuracy.

Requirements

  • Active Dental Assistant certification in accordance with Florida requirements
  • Previous IV sedation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of controlled substance handling and documentation procedures
  • Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board compliance standards
  • Strong understanding of dental office workflows and clinical operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between offices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi-location practices preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during IV sedation procedures in accordance with state regulations and office protocols
  • Prepare, verify, and document sedation medications and controlled substances accurately
  • Maintain sedation logs, waste records, and related documentation
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and security of medications and emergency supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or concerns promptly
  • Support compliance with sedation safety standards and emergency preparedness procedures
  • Communicate sedation-related concerns or operational issues to leadership as appropriate
  • Prepare operatories and assist during extraction procedures
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
  • Take and digital radiographs
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
  • Support front office operations when needed, including scheduling and patient check in/check-out
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment
  • Help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
  • Travel between multiple office locations throughout the Tampa Bay area as scheduled
  • Maintain flexibility to support sedation days and general clinical coverage needs
  • Consistently uphold office standards and protocols across all locations
