About The Position
Done Right Merchandising is hiring an experienced Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support retail store setups and remodels at job locations nationwide. The role involves merchandising work in hardware stores and regular travel between project locations. Employees are expected to work reliably, contribute to a team, and complete assigned project hours. Hotels are paid for while working, and mileage is reimbursed according to company policy. Requirements
- Experience with merchandising and remodels in a retail store environment.
- Ability to work with a team and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Personal, reliable transportation; rental vehicles and public transportation will not suffice.
- Reliability and commitment to working assigned project hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand comfortably for prolonged periods.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to pass a national background check and random drug screenings.
- Valid government-issued identification.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities
- Remove existing products from shelves.
- Set shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips, price labels, and signage.
- Stock merchandise according to a planogram.
- Assist with building and/or moving store fixtures.
- Travel regularly from one job location to another.
- Work assigned hours provided on the project schedule.
- Help coworkers and contribute to completing projects as a team.
- Act with accountability, honesty, integrity, professionalism, and reliability.
