About The Position

RAE Security is hiring a Traveling Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, Texas based security company that has experienced seven consecutive years of expansion. As part of our dynamic operations teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering integrated security solutions across multiple regions. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end project execution from planning and coordination to on-site implementation-while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The position involves regular travel to project sites, offering variety, autonomy, and chance to work with cutting-edge security technologies. Requirements

  • 3-5 years Project Management experience in the security field doing installation or service of security systems
  • Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and specifications
  • Pass drug and background screenings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation of security systems: intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, intercom, and monitoring
  • Manage project scope, schedule, materials, and manpower
  • Lead pre-construction meetings and collaborate with sales
  • Coordinate appropriate technician and subcontractor labor to meet project schedules
  • Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials on-site
  • Conduct site kickoff meetings and provide scope documentation
  • Provide the local installation team with a copy of the scope of work
  • Coordinate between end users and installers
  • Provide an estimated installation schedule
  • Manage and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Program S2 access control systems
  • Program surveillance cameras
  • Program Exacq video management systems
  • Communicate with field staff and operations to track project progress and ensure expectations are met
  • Stay organized and exercise effective time management to prioritize workload
  • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
  • Demonstrate a willingness to continue learning and remain open-minded
  • Understand and follow all safety regulations and practices
  • Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management
