About The Position

Myrtle Beach, SC general area traveling. Starting $18/hour based on experience + sale bonuses and travel accommodations. Are you looking to gain real world sales experience, photography, and customer service skills in youth sports photography? Glossy Finish is the place for you. We are a youth sports photography company that "Captures Moments and Creates Memories" for players and families alike. We offer digital packages and physical prints, depending on the event, that players and parents get to take home with them. We are looking for high energy, friendly, motivated sales people to take team photos, secure registrations, assist with orders, and provide excellent customer service. Starting pay is $18/hour based on experience + sale bonuses and travel accommodations + growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to interact effectively with children, parents, coaches, and league officials.
• Patience and flexibility: Willingness to work with young athletes of varying ages and skill levels, and adapt to changing game situations.
• Strong work ethic: Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, to cover sporting events.
• Business acumen: Knowledge of sales and marketing principles to effectively promote and sell photography services and products.
• Must be available for two weekends of the month.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods in the outdoors and bending over.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality images: Photograph youth sporting events. Take individual and team portraits, highlighting the athletes' accomplishments and personalities.
• Maintain professional equipment: Ensure all photography equipment is in excellent working condition and up-to-date, and report any damages.
• Build relationships: Establish positive relationships with clients, including parents, coaches, league officials, athletes, and the Glossy Finish team.
• Sell: Present our products, explain options to customers, secure registrations, and close sales.
• Set up/break down: Setting up/breaking down tables, tents, photo studios, printers, and necessary equipment.
