About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial orthoses and the only company dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly. We also offer the EarWell® treatment for infant ear shapes. We are seeking a Nationwide Traveling Certified Orthotist based out of Fort Worth, TX for a full-time position. This role offers the opportunity to practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States, focusing exclusively on infants and their families in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting. The position involves weekly travel, typically Monday afternoon/evening, with work in the clinic Tuesday through Friday, returning home Friday afternoon/evening. Clinicians are home every Saturday and Sunday, with travel schedules provided at least two weeks in advance. Candidates should be located near a major airport. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoy building relationships with new families and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Certified Orthotist
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel weekly to various clinic locations across the United States.

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
  • Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop strong relationships with families throughout their treatment process.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in various Cranial Technologies clinic locations across the United States.
  • Take over caseloads from other clinicians, meeting new families regularly.
