About The Position
San Antonio Orthodontics is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join their part-time traveling team. This role supports an orthodontist at three different locations within the San Antonio area. The position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced orthodontist, a team that values patient care, and the chance to grow skills in a specialty setting.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of experience as an orthodontic dental assistant
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Texas
- Active CPR Certification or willing to obtain
- Reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations within the San Antonio market
Responsibilities
- Orthodontic records (photos, x-rays, impressions, scanning)
- Bondings IDB and direct bonding
- Adjustments
- Phase one appliances
- Debonds
- Invisalign iTero Scanning
- Sterilization
- Lab work
