About The Position
We are seeking experienced Traveling Field Technicians with a strong background in millwork, cabinetry, and solid surface installation to join our team. This position involves traveling to commercial new construction projects across the United States and working on-site for extended assignments, typically up to 60 days at a time. We are especially interested in hiring established two-person installation teams who have worked together successfully in the past.
Requirements
- Extensive experience installing millwork, cabinetry, and solid surface materials
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working on commercial construction projects preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States
Nice To Haves
- Established two-person installation teams who have worked together successfully in the past
Responsibilities
- Install architectural millwork, cabinetry, and solid surface products according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation plans
- Perform field measurements and ensure accurate installation
- Maintain quality workmanship and job site safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on-site
- Travel to project locations nationwide and remain on-site for the duration of assignments
