About The Position

Newbury Living is a growing, well-established property management company seeking a Traveling Maintenance Specialist to support and elevate our communities across Eastern Iowa. This role is for a hands-on problem solver who thrives on variety, independence, and making a visible difference. The specialist will travel to multiple properties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems, take the lead on preventative maintenance, perform detailed inspections, train on-site teams, and coordinate vendor work.

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Eastern Iowa
• Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Solid problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
• Comfort with basic computer systems and documentation
• Valid Iowa driver's license and current vehicle insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of apartment or multi-family maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple properties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems
• Take the lead on preventative maintenance to keep communities running smoothly
• Perform detailed inspections and identify improvement opportunities
• Train and mentor on-site maintenance teams
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work to ensure quality and efficiency
