About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women's Eastern Reception Diagnostic Classification Center located in Vandalia, Missouri. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country.
Requirements
- Active unencumbered Missouri or Compact LPN License with IV-Certification
- Must live 90+ miles from designated facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility
- Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience
