About The Position

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Concrete/Soils/Aggregate Laboratory Technician in Arizona. This position is construction-related, involves heavy lifting and getting dirty. The successful candidate will have knowledge regarding the standard laboratory test methods including, but are not limited to, asphalt content by ignition, marshall/gyratory, maximum theoretical density, sand equivalent, uncompacted voids, proctors, sieves, Atterberg Limits, Compression, Sampling, and splitting of samples. Must be willing to travel throughout Arizona, potentially to remote areas.

Requirements

• Experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt.
• Certification in ATTI and ACI.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory test methods.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt.
