Traveling Fuel Technician Apprentice
About The Position
OWL Services is hiring a Traveling Fuel Technician Apprentice to work hands-on in the field servicing fuel stations. This job is for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, are comfortable with travel, and seek stable employment with opportunities for overtime and career advancement. The company provides on-the-job training, and while mechanical experience is helpful, it is not required for candidates willing to learn. The role involves calibrating fuel pumps, performing minor maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment, setting up tools and equipment at job sites, using basic technology for work recording, and driving a company truck to various locations across multiple states. This is a travel-heavy position, with employees potentially being on the road for weeks at a time. Hotel accommodations and a daily per diem are provided.
Requirements
- Mechanical ability or experience using hand tools (preferred, not required).
- A reliable individual seeking a long-term career with opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Comfortable lifting 10–50 lbs and working on your feet, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions.
- Basic phone/tablet skills.
- Clean driving record.
- Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
