About The Position
Traveling School Food Service Worker Substitute Needed in the Highlands, Asbury, in NJ areas. This is an on-call/flexible position that requires travel. The role supports multiple school cafeterias by filling in as needed, assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience for students.
Requirements
- A flexible schedule and the ability to work on short notice.
- Willingness to travel throughout the counties up to a 25 mile radius.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior food experience is a plus, but training is provided.
- Cashiering experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with meal prep and food service.
- Maintaining sanitary and safe work conditions.
- Setting up and breaking down serving areas.
