About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Traveling Floor Cleaner to perform a wide range of floor care and general cleaning duties across multiple work sites. This position is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented facilities for employees, clients, and visitors. The role requires extensive travel— 70% to 90% Monday through Friday —to support cleaning operations in various states, including tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, pressure washing, and equipment upkeep.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Travel commitment of 70% to 90% of the time, Monday through Friday
Willingness to travel to different work sites across multiple states
Driver's License (Required)
Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Floor care: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
