About The Position

This project-based role installs and assembles retail fixtures and displays to present products attractively and support store merchandising. Assignments may involve department resets, remodels, new store setups, and travel to multiple locations in a designated area or region. Work assignments range from 0 to 40 hours per week depending on project volume, travel willingness, and acceptance of other available projects. Project shift lengths vary and may run 8 to 10 or more hours, including overnight or daytime shifts as required by the client. The position pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations in a designated area or region for periods of 1 to 6 weeks at a time.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Ability to read diagrams or instructions and process instructions.
Ability to use personal hand tools and a variety of hand or power tools as necessary.
Ability to work scheduled shifts that may include days or overnights and last 8 to 10 or more hours, depending on the project.

Responsibilities

Complete department resets, remodels, and new store setups, including custom fixture assembly.
Build gondolas, H-frame warehouse racking, and other specialty fixtures on sales floors and in backroom warehouses.
Perform merchandising tasks such as stock placement to planogram, resetting metal shelves, and setting end caps to planogram.
Read and follow installation documents, including guides, manuals, planograms, and modular and fixture layout documents.
Maintain retailer-specific online certifications.
Use fixture installation tools safely, including cordless drills, hammer drills, tape measures, levels, screwdrivers, and rubber mallets.
Read and interpret store blueprints and plans.
Use construction knowledge to determine installation methods, work procedures, and material and tool requirements.
Arrive on time, work scheduled hours, and adapt to changing work schedules.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the Channel Partners management team.
