About The Position

The Traveling Dietary Support role supports multiple locations and is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The successful candidate will have recent skilled nursing management experience and a ServSafe Manager Certificate. The role includes overseeing dietary staff, controlling costs, coordinating diet therapy, and working with other departments to support residents’ care.

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, or related areas.
• Any combination of experience and training that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple locations within the northwest Washington state area.
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Oversee and manage dietary staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
• Implement and maintain cost-control measures within the department.
• Coordinate diet therapy and ensure dietary services meet individual resident needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall quality of resident care.
