Dental Associates of Connecticut is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams across multiple established locations. This is a structured, predictable travel position — you’ll always know your schedule in advance.

Set weekly schedule — you’ll know your location in advance
One location per day (no bouncing between offices mid-day)
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break
Competitive $30–$32/hour

Current Weekly Schedule (subject to change)
Monday – Avon
Tuesday – Prospect (every other week) / West Hartford once monthly
(Starting April: every other week in New Britain)
Wednesday – Prospect
Thursday – Shelton
Friday – Branford / New Britain (starting April)
You must be comfortable traveling between Avon, Branford, Prospect, Shelton, New Britain, and West Hartford.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Dental assisting experience
• X-Ray & ICE Certification
• Superior customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to assigned locations

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and doctor
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs
• Set up trays according to daily charts
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Take x-rays as needed
• Enter treatment plans
• Take alginates, pour and trim models
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each patient
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatories fully stocked
