About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dental care services in structured, outpatient clinic-based environments in the Bay Area. This role functions as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model where clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics, allowing the care team to focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care. This is not a high-volume corporate dental environment; dental assistants work within established clinic environments supporting care for seniors as part of a coordinated healthcare team, emphasizing quality over volume, consistency and predictable scheduling, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (California required)
- Active Radiation Certificate
- Strong understanding of OSHA & infection control
- Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License
- Able to lift/transport equipment (25–50 lbs)
- Must pass federal background check + drug screening
- Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
- A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist during exams and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Support patient intake and documentation
- Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
