About The Position

Join our dynamic and growing dental team as a Dental Assistant at Great Expressions Dental Centers! We’re looking for an energetic, motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent patient care. This is a traveling position requiring frequent travel between our Stuart and Boynton Beach offices. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Requirements

Meet state requirements for dental assisting, including specific certifications and training for X-ray exposure depending on the state (Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas).
CPR Certification (required in Georgia, Massachusetts, Texas)
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification (required in Florida, Georgia)
Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (required in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio)
FDOH Permit to expose X-rays (required in Florida, Ohio)
BORID certification and annual CE requirements (Massachusetts)
Evidence of X-ray training certification (Michigan - 8-week grace period)
TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners (Texas)

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education
Proficiency in dental software and technology

Responsibilities

Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
