About The Position

The Traveling Level 4 Data Center Technician provides hands-on support for enterprise data center operations and infrastructure upgrade projects across multiple U.S. locations. This role requires experienced technicians who can step into active environments quickly, support fiber and cabling initiatives, and assist with early-phase project execution. Between travel assignments, the technician supports data center operations in the Mount Pleasant WI area. This is a contract position based out of Dallas, TX, but the role requires relocation to Wisconsin if not already in the area. The position involves 75% nationwide travel and 25% in the home market.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on data center experience (break/fix, deployment, troubleshooting).
Mastery of hardware installation, cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber), and network troubleshooting.
Leadership chops and a drive to manage complex projects.
Stellar communication and documentation skills.
Flexibility for day or night shifts—and a readiness to travel when needed.
Must be interested in relocation to Wisconsin.
