About The Position

Surface Preparation Technologies LLC is committed to improving road safety through rumble strip installation. As a leader in the industry, we are growing rapidly and need qualified individuals to join our team in making roads safer. We are hiring full-time Construction Laborers / Equipment Operators to support our industry-leading rumble strip installation crews across the United States. This role involves 100% nationwide travel, exploring new cities and states, and offers comprehensive benefits, paid perks, competitive pay, and opportunities for training and growth.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License REQUIRED.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain equipment.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. with overnight stays.
• Must take the initiative to build work relationships with your team and external customers.
• Must conduct yourself in a manner promoting a professional atmosphere by being a team player, self-motivated, organized and having a positive attitude.
• Must have good oral and/or written English communication skills with co-workers, customers, contractors, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Transport trucks and heavy machinery across state lines
• Operate rumble strip and other related equipment.
• Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance inspections, ensuring safety and optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with your team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision once trained.
• Occasionally interact with inspectors, engineers, and DOT personnel.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to job-specific protocols and wearing necessary PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
