About The Position

Green Mountain Pipeline Services LLC, a partner of Azuria Water Solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Laborer with their CIPP pipelining, infrastructure inspection, and rehabilitation project operations. Green Mountain Pipeline Services is based in Bethel, VT, but projects are located across the New England area. Field staff gets the exciting opportunity to travel, with all expenses paid. We are currently hiring Construction Laborers with a valid CDL license to join our team in Bethel, VT. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position requires working with minimal oversight while still adhering to instructions closely. We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout. The starting pay is $25.00-$31.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with prior industry experience might be able to negotiate a higher starting rate.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a Construction Laborer and / or Installation Technician highly preferred
  • OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle report
  • Must possess a Class A or B CDL and be aligned with Insituform’s motor vehicle standards (Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required)
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
  • Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)

Nice To Haves

  • Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Repair various types of sewer lines by using a specific product and process
  • Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
  • Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate material
  • Monitor gauges, dials or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
  • Learn / train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
  • Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop
