About The Position

Reliant Finishing Systems, established in 2005, is seeking a Traveling Construction Crew Member to join their team. The company manufactures equipment used for powder coating and industrial painting, as well as large-scale ovens for industrial curing applications. They have experienced substantial growth and their products are used throughout North America by notable customers. Reliant offers a challenging but informal environment where contributions are valued.

Requirements

• Ability to perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Valid/unrestricted driver's license
• Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. passport for travel outside the United States
• Ability to use hand tools and small power tools with extreme skill
• Must be able to lift 70-pound parts without assistance
• Climbing ladders, overhead reaching, bending, and squatting are all required
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Ability to respond professionally during on-site situations with difficult customers or contractors
• Flexible schedule: ability to work 10+ hours per day and on weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

• Electrical/HVAC, gas plumbing, or related contractor's license
• Familiarity with forklifts, scissor and bucket lifts

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation work and interconnection wiring of industrial machinery
• Report on-site parts errors/shortages to supervisor
• Report customer concerns to supervisor
• Report installation issues to supervisor
• Provide emergency on-site repair to equipment as needed
• Perform limited machine operation tasks at factory when not deployed to installation sites
