Traveling Concrete Plant Operator
About The Position
This position requires frequent travel between Emery Sapp & Sons concrete plants located throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively, work away from their home location as needed, and stay overnight when project or operational demands require. This is not a stationary position and regular travel is an essential function of the job. We are seeking an experienced Traveling Concrete Batch Plant Operator to support our construction operations. This position is responsible for producing concrete, operating plant equipment, and maintaining safe and efficient plant operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in concrete plant operations preferred
- Knowledge of plant equipment and components
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with DOT/public works projects is a plus

- Technical or vocational training preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete batch plant equipment to produce concrete
- Accurately batch materials including cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures
- Monitor production to ensure consistent output
- Perform daily plant inspections and routine maintenance
- Maintain proper material inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Keep plant and work area clean and organized
- Assist with setup, tear down, and relocation of portable plants as needed
