About The Position

Golfsheds is redefining luxury golf simulator spaces by building premium, fully integrated outdoor golf simulators for customers across North America. We’re looking for a highly capable Traveling AV Installer & Troubleshooter who thrives on solving technical problems, enjoys traveling, and takes pride in delivering a world-class customer experience. This is not your typical AV installation job. You’ll be installing and troubleshooting cutting-edge golf simulator technology, premium audio/video systems, networking equipment, lighting, automation, and smart home integrations inside our custom-built structures. If you’re the type of person who refuses to leave a job until everything works perfectly, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

Experience in AV installation
Experience in Home theater installation
Experience in Commercial AV systems
Experience in Golf simulator installation
Experience in Network troubleshooting
Experience in Windows PC setup and repair
Experience in HDMI and video signal troubleshooting
Experience in Projector installation and calibration
Experience in Audio receiver configuration
Experience with Smart home technology
Experience with Low-voltage wiring
Basic electrical knowledge
Experience with Remote technical support
Experience with products such as: TrackMan, Uneekor, Epson projectors, Denon/Marantz receivers, Sonos, Apple TV, Ubiquiti networking, Windows 11, NVIDIA graphics systems
Extremely resourceful

Responsibilities

Travel nationwide (typically 3–5 days per installation). Up to 80% travel
Install premium golf simulator systems including: Launch monitors (TrackMan, Uneekor, Foresight, etc.), Gaming PCs, High-end laser projectors, Large impact screens, Surround sound systems, TVs and displays
Configure and troubleshoot: HDMI distribution, AV receivers, Network switches and routers, Wi-Fi connectivity, Windows PCs, Smart TVs, Apple TV, Streaming devices
Calibrate projectors and align simulator systems
Configure software and simulator platforms
Diagnose technical issues both onsite and remotely
Assist customers with training and basic system operation
Work closely with production and installation teams
Document installations and complete punch lists
Provide exceptional customer service throughout every project
