About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Travel Wellness Nurse to join our team. This role involves traveling to and assisting communities within a designated territory to ensure nursing shifts are adequately covered. The Travel Wellness Nurse will lead by example in passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, completing paperwork, and conducting proper training. A key aspect of this role is providing exceptional quality of care for all residents and embodying Arrow's core values through actions, language, and deeds.

Requirements

Current LPN license in good standing.
Ability to travel to multiple Arrow communities within assigned territory.
Availability to work a minimum of every other weekend.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulation.
Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents.
Ability to maintain and update effective service plans and supervise care staff.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
Ability to communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and community staff.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Must be in good standing if you are an internal applicant.
