About The Position
Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of a surgical technologist training program is required.
- Eighteen (18) months of scrub tech experience in an acute care operating room may substitute for the training program requirement.
- Two (2) years of acute surgical technologist experience is required.
- One (1) year of the experience must include at least two (2) specialty areas (i.e., orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, etc.).
- Required to have and maintain BLS through American Heart Association.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Ability to complete the orientation and training.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification issued through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
