About The Position

At BB Imaging, we are a diagnostic imaging company focused on making high-quality ultrasound services accessible. We partner with healthcare systems to improve maternal-fetal care and support our sonographers. We are seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer to join our Travel Team to support a clinic site in Richland, WA. This role offers the chance to provide exceptional care in new locations, with flexibility for travel while prioritizing your well-being and expertise.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Nice To Haves

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to multiple healthcare sites within the assigned region (may include extended commute times)
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Other duties assigned by managers
