About The Position
We are hiring a Surgical/Ortho RN for day shift at a regional medical center in Pikeville, KY. You will care for surgical and orthopedic patients as part of a strong nursing team.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN license (or compact), or proof of application
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
- Agree to a 48 hour per week contract
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to surgical and orthopedic patients
- Give pre and post operative care and pain management
- Manage IV therapy, drains and equipment
- Document care and update patients and families
