Travel RN Hematology Clinic
About The Position
UCHealth is hiring a Travel RN for its Hematology Clinic at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract, working day shifts. Pay is $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend. The nurse provides direct patient care at the top of scope using the nursing process and works within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. The role emphasizes wellness, patient perspective, evidence-based practice, safety, and quality at the point of care. The nurse is expected to model proficiency by precepting people new to healthcare or UCHealth and to welcome learning in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. The position is associated with Acute Care, including specialty Medical-Surgical units with moderate to high patient acuity. Evidence-based care models incorporate the American Med-Surg Nurses Association core curriculum and applicable specialty certification standards. Requirements
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must remain valid through 60 days after hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care at the top of scope using the nursing process.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, the patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
- Precept people new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Provide acute care for patients in specialty Medical-Surgical units with moderate to high patient acuity.
