About The Position

NurseAmerica is actively hiring experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for multiple high-paying assignments in Utica, NY. If you're an experienced ER nurse looking for your next adventure, we have immediate opportunities offering up to $3,000 per week, including tax-free stipends for qualified travelers. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, with both day and night shifts available.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous Travel RN experience preferred
• NIHSS (preferred)
• Experience with EPIC or MEDITECH is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and treat emergency patients
• Perform rapid triage and critical patient assessments
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Operate emergency department equipment
• Accurately document patient care using EMR systems
• Provide compassionate patient and family education
