Travel ER RN – Emergency Department | Utica, NY
About The Position
NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurses for multiple 13-week assignments in Utica, NY. This opportunity is ideal for experienced ER nurses looking to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department with flexible shift options and competitive weekly pay. The Emergency Department has 64 beds, including Triage, Acute Care, Super Track, Trauma Bays, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), and Psychiatric beds. The patient population includes Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults & Geriatrics, with common diagnoses such as Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. The EMR system used is EPIC.
Requirements
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Travel experience required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand)
- EPIC EMR experience
- Strong emergency assessment, triage, and critical care skills

Responsibilities
