About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Travel Respiratory Therapists fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities. The role is based at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s in Westerville, Ohio, for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP, working three 12-hour day shifts per week. The gross weekly rate is $2,160.00. Therapists must be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. They practice in accordance with AARC professional-practice standards, work independently within their knowledge and experience, remain accountable for delegated work and decisions, collaborate with stakeholders to support quality improvement, and adapt to new responsibilities and differing perspectives while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
Current CRT or RRT credential.
Valid state license in Respiratory Care if required in the state where working.
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, other health personnel, and department management in all situations and in line with the organization’s mission and values.
Analytical skills to identify patients’ needs.
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities
