About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (T-RN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Camden, ME. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with a Day Shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, guaranteeing 36 hours weekly. The role involves providing direct nursing care, performing patient assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, collaborating with healthcare staff, maintaining EMR documentation, educating patients and families, ensuring safety protocols, and supervising ancillary staff.

Requirements

• Active RN License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely and effectively
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to patient needs or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and ancillary staff as needed
• Participate in shift reports, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
