About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gettysburg, PA. This position involves assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with healthcare teams, providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, maintaining EMR documentation, educating patients and families, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Active RN License required
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Previous clinical or acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Provide direct patient care while ensuring comfort and safety
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control and healthcare regulations
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning processes
