About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, placing registered nurses in short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This position is for an Operating Room RN at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center in Iowa. FirstChoice nurses may work in a variety of practice settings and may travel within their local region or nationally. The role requires willingness and qualification to float throughout a hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The assignment is 13 weeks, scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts per week, with a stated gross weekly rate of $2,760. The schedule may be 36–40 hours.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for the Operating Room/Surgical Services specialty.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
