About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. Travel RNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2685/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. This position is for a benefit-eligible Centurion employee. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities
