About The Position

Centurion is the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. They are seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Centralia Correctional Center in Centralia, IL. This role involves working between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, with each assignment restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient. The position offers up to $2685/week including non-taxed weekly stipend and is a full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employee role.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
