About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at North Idaho Correctional Institution located in Cottonwood, ID. Travel RNs assigned to Idaho earn up to $2560/week including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
