About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Stepdown Registered Nurses for multiple travel/contract positions in Petoskey, MI. This role involves providing all aspects of nursing care for patients in the CVU-Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, participate in patient and family teaching, record patient information accurately, and revise care plans based on assessments.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse: 1+ years - Required
• PCU/Stepdown Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1+ years – Required
• Cardiac proficiency - Required
• EKG Comfortability - Required
• Prior Travel Nursing experience of at least one contract assignment completed - Required
• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• RN License for State of MI - Required
• BLS Certification from AHA - Required
• ACLS Certification from AHA - Required

Nice To Haves

• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in CVU-Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit/s.
• Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
