About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Correctional Institution in Cumberland, MD. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. Assignments will be at various facilities/locations throughout Maryland, restricted to one location per contract. Travel RNs can earn up to $3,085/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend, and are benefit-eligible employees with opportunities nationwide.

Requirements

• Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland.
• Must live 80 miles from facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
• Appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Corrections experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
