About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland, MD. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs. Assignments will be restricted to one location within the state of Maryland, per contract needs. Travel RNs assigned to Maryland can earn up to $3,085/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland
Must live 80 miles from facility
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities
