About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Labor and Delivery to join our team. This position is critical to providing high-quality care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Our unit has received the Baby Friendly Designation, highlighting our commitment to providing exceptional maternal care. This position offers a unique chance to work in a 13 Bed Maternal Assessment Center dedicated to the triage of pregnant patients. You will have access to 24/7 ancillary services including anesthesia, neonatal care, laborists, and hospitalists, ensuring comprehensive support at all times. Requirements
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
Nice To Haves
- Experience in OR circulation for cesarean sections
- Placement of fetal scalp electrodes (FSE) and intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC)
Responsibilities
- Providing care during labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Monitoring and assessing patients to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
- Performing antepartum care, testing, and continuous electronic fetal monitoring.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
