About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity, fast-paced care in a busy Emergency Department. The RN will manage trauma, critical, and non-critical patients across all age groups, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License (required at submission)
• Minimum 3–5 years recent ER experience
• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Experience in high-volume Emergency Department
• Ability to pass EKG exam (≥80% overall, 100% critical rhythms)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Willingness to float within facility
• BLS (Required)
• PALS (Required)
• NIHSS (Required)
• Must live outside 50-mile radius (no locals)
• Flu vaccine required (or approved exemption)

Nice To Haves

• ACLS (Preferred)
• TNCC (Preferred)
• Experience with adult + pediatric ER strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and patient assessment
• Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to critical events
• Administer medications using Omnicell system
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Manage dysrhythmias and initiate emergency interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Document all care in Epic EMR
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
