About The Position

We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Cath Lab at Chippenham, VA. This role involves working in a unit with 3 cath labs and a staff of 10-11 per day, consisting of a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists. The patient ratio is 3 staff per room. The lab utilizes GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR. The position requires on-call availability for some weekends and weekdays, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role is necessary.

Requirements

• Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab.
• RN, RCIS, or RT certification.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Attendance is crucial.
• Availability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of callback.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-volume lab handling complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Assist with Impella and balloon-pump procedures.
• Conduct peripheral cases.
• Perform complex PCIs.
• Occasional device placements.
